First Nodaway County COVID-19 case reported

Health officials have confirmed the first case of coronavirus in Nodaway County. The resident, a woman between 50 and 59-years-old, tested positive for COVID-19 by Quest Laboratory. According to a press release, she's under the care of Mosaic Life Care at St. Joseph. Nodaway County Health Department staff are working with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to determine whether or not any close contacts of the patient were possibly exposed. No other details have been released.
